Expectations in Discouragement

Revelation knowledge does not mean that it comes with the ability to implement it into our lives.

I am not a prisoner of circumstances; I’m a prisoner to the Lord Jesus Christ.  Therefore, there are no boundaries or limitations to bind you from doing what you need to do what you need to do being guided by the Spirit.

John 16:33 (King James Version)
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

John 16:33 (Amplified Bible)
I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]

If you stay in Christ there will be peace.  Most circumstances are meant to draw you away from Jesus.

Isaiah 41:10 (Amplified Bible)
Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice.

Joshua 1--You may be under the cover of God but you still have to be very courageous to make it through.

1 Kings 19:3, 5-7 (King James Version)
3Then he was afraid and arose and went for his life and came to Beersheba of Judah [over eighty miles, and out of Jezebel's realm] and left his servant there. --------5As he lay asleep under the broom or juniper tree, behold, an angel touched him and said to him, rise and eat.  6He looked, and behold, there was a cake baked on the coals, and a bottle of water at his head. And he ate and drank and lay down again.  7The angel of the Lord came the second time and touched him and said, Arise and eat, for the journey is too great for you.

The first thing God will call you do is to ARISE!  Get up!  Arise in the mist of turmoil.

Isaiah 60:1 (Amplified Bible)
ARISE [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you--rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!

1 Samuel 30:6 (King James Version)
And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.
